Coltt DeCoteau

Coltt DeCoteau, 30, Fargo, ND died Sunday February 7, 2016 near Larimore, ND.

Coltt was born March 1, 1985 at Rolette, ND, the son of Mark and Connie (Kuhn) DeCoteau. He attended high school in Devils Lake and later moved to Jamestown to be closer to his family. In 2015 he moved to Fargo where he worked as a carpenter.

Coltt was a brother, a son, an uncle, a nephew, and a cousin, but more than anything, he was a loving father to his 3 children. He liked to take his kids fishing, swimming, bowling, camping and playing pool. They enjoyed watching movies together and listening to music. Coltt enjoyed getting together with family on holidays, weekends and any chance he could. He had the biggest heart, the warmest smile and will be deeply missed by all those whose life he touched.

He is survived by his mother, Connie (Wayne) Hochhalter, Jamestown, ND; 2 daughters, Cadence DeCoteau, Brynn Lange, both of Devils Lake, ND, 1 son; 2 sisters, Salone (Justin) Scallon, Fargo, ND; Roxanne Hoff, Jamestown, ND; 1 brother, Mark LaDucer, Belcourt, ND; his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Mark in 2007, cousin Chance in 2010, and his cousin Alexis in 2015.

Visitation - 9:00 -7:00 PM Thursday @ the funeral home in Jamestown
