I am sending sincere condolences to all of you kids and your families. Maybe I shouldn't refer to you as kids...its funny how time flies and then some times it doesn't. Your Dad and your Mother did a beautiful job of making a happy and loving family. I am so sorry for your loss but he will always be with you in your hearts.

We are so sorry for your loss. Jerry always seemed ageless somehow, young at heart and with a love of life and people. I know he's making people smile now in heaven and i can hear Aunt Annette's laughter. How good for them to be together again. My favorite memories go back to the very early 70s, J and J era, just impressed with all the enterprise, which I'm sure he was proud of but what struck me then was his casual comfort to generously share, to allow us kids to play and explore the furniture store and more. Over the years it was always so good to see him...and he had such a way of letting you know he was just as happy to see you.

So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I have such fond memories of Jerry from all the Carlson Picnics and from running into him around Jamestown. Jerry always made me feel welcome, and always had time to share a story and a laugh. I felt fortunate to see him at the Arts Park concerts last summer and at the Chinese restaurant. When we invited him to our table, my husband asked him what the secret to a long life was. Jerry looked thoughtful and said, "Don't die." That was Jerry! He was one of the good ones. Sending our love from Minnesota.
