Obituary

Edwin D. Jacobson, 84, Jamestown, ND died Sunday September 26, 2021 at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Edwin was born April 10, 1937 at Crystal Springs, ND, the son of Joseph and Gunhild (Rosell) Jacobson. He attended the local rural school where he received his elementary education and grew up in the area.

Edwin did various jobs but mostly helped area farmers. He later moved to Jamestown and retired.

Edwin enjoyed listening to old time Country music, watching western movies and going to rummage sales. He loved family reunions where all the stories were told.

He is survived by his son Rickey Lee Jacobson, Fargo, ND; 1 granddaughter, Jeana, 3 grandsons, Forrest, Carlton and Levi, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews

Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, 3 sisters and 1 great grandson.

I met Edwin in 1996 when he did snow removal for the building space I rented. In later years he was a often customer at Hellers Barbershop and I got to know him a little more there. Edwin was always kind and I never heard him say a bad word about anybody. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
