My most sincere condolences to Uncle Frank's family and loved ones! Frank was a huge inspiration to me and my career, Fabrication and welding, I was always amazed by the things that Frank could make out of scrap and raw materials. Franks knowledge of making casting metals was amazing. He would let me come out and use his shop when needed to fabricate and weld things if I asked him. He was kind and generous. I thank him for that. Many memories of working with my dad (Bernard Samek), Frank, my brother Ron, cousins Wade and Eddy at Franks shop. Yep, kids running band saws, lathes and mills. Long days and nights turning out part after part. I also had the pleasure of joining Uncle Frank and Uncle Steve's band the Cimarrons at the age of 15. Frank's stories and sense of humor made it well worth it! I am fortunate that I my bought some of Frank's gear a couple years ago. I also have a mini bike that he built. All it too for Uncle Frank to decide to build it was from a set of wheels that my dad had at home. He gave them to Frank, and Frank built a mini bike with them. Many good times, memories and laughs were had with Frank. I will miss and love you always! Rest Easy!
