Duane William Lang, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather respected Army veteran, and dedicated service technician in the beverage industry, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025 surrounded by his family. Born June 9, 1943, to Rudolph Lang and Freida Grabinske, Duane lived a life marked by commitment, diligence, and honor.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Lang, who stood by his side through the years, son Todd (Emily) Lang, and daughter Taressa Strand. His grandchild Megan and Jackson Lang, and Adisyn and Caden Strand. Duane’s enduring dedication to his work, family and country reflected a character anchored in loyalty and steadfastness. His service in the United States Army exemplified his sense of duty and sacrifice, traits that continued to define his endeavors in civilian life.
Duane’s professional life as a service technician at Coca-Cola for 37 years spoke to his technical skill and reliability, qualities he valued deeply. He carried himself with quiet pride, ever ready to serve those around him with kindness and competence.
A visitation will be held on January 10, 2026, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at Haut Funeral Home, 1101 5th Ave NE, Jamestown, North Dakota. This will be followed immediately by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. The family will then gather for inurnment at the North Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery, 1825 46th St., Mandan, North Dakota, on January 12, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
Duane William Lang’s memory will be cherished fondly by those who knew him, and his legacy of service and devotion will long endure in the hearts of family and friends alike.
