Lorraine Gladys Pepple, 91, Jamestown, ND died Friday evening May 28, 2010 at the Elim Care Center in Fargo, ND.
Lorraine Wentz was born March 16, 1919 at Spokane, WA, the daughter of Christ Wentz and Amelia (Froehlich) Wentz. She moved with her parents to McClusky, ND, where she attended the local country school, received her elementary education and grew to womanhood in the vicinity.
She and LeRoy Marchant were married October 24, 1938 at McClusky, ND. They made their home on a farm NW of Wing, ND where they farmed for many years. Following the death of her husband in 1950 she moved into Wing.
She and Andrew Pepple were married July 6, 1957 at Wing, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where she worked at the ND State Hospital as a Nurses Aid. Following the death of her husband in 1985 she continued to reside in Jamestown. She entered the Hi-Acres Manor and later entered the Carrington Care Center. In 2007 she moved to the Elim Care Center in Fargo.
She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Jamestown.

She is survived by her children, Joanne (Craig) Potter, Marlys (Don) Maas, Perry Marchant, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 half sister, Mavis Houghton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday June 4, 2010 in the Haut Funeral Chapel at Jamestown, ND, with Rev. Randy Jaspers, officiating.
The interment will be made in the Sunset Memorial Gardens at Jamestown, ND.
Visitation - 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. Thursday @ the funeral home
