I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that God will comfort and sustain you. Psalms 34:18 says that He is near to those broken at heart and saves those crushed in spirit. He truly knows the pain you feel. He assures us at John 5:28 that a time will soon come when we will welcome back to our arms those we have lost. Know that time is very near. Allow God to comfort your soul until that day arrives. Please keep His promises close to your heart. I offer my deepest sympathies to your entire family.

With heartfelt sympathy my family & I send prayers to you, Lydia's dear ones, upon her passing. She was a childhood & life-long friend to my mother, Hanna Halberg Hammerstrom, & her siblings. Plus she's remained, with Harold, in loving memory as a Christian cornerstone for me. Life is short even if we live 90+ years as she has; but Heaven is but a breath away. With faith, we shall meet again; & this love that began here on earth will continue on the other side. I mourn her passing. I've lately wished to tell her how dear she was. Harold & her voices in the kitchen at Halbergs on Saturday sauna night resound yet in memory. childlike then, all was right in the world: these Christians, my parents, Halbergs & Lunzmans, etc were taking care of us children. Lydia now sees with Cal & Alma what we must with faith believe & yearn for. We are blessed as is she. This is such Heavenly comfort. Love to you. God's peace. Patty Ek
