Priscilla Rudolf, 78, died Friday April 12, 2013, at Wishek Community Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, July 9, 2013 at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek .

Priscilla Eloise Backhaus was born Jan. 18, 1935 at Wishek, the daughter of William and Emma (Dockter) Backhaus. She attended schools in Danzig and Wishek.

Priscilla and Helmuth Rudolf were married May 5, 1957 at Wishek. They made their home in Wishek, where she worked as a nurse's aide in Wishek and Ashley. She also did other various jobs, such as house cleaning, painting, wall papering, child care, cook and bartender. She was a member of St Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek. She loved summers at Green Lake, and enjoyed knitting and crocheting, sewing and macramé lawn chairs. She loved to make strudles and many of us enjoyed them.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Robert, Clifton and Raymond, and two sisters, Florence and Louise.

Priscilla is survived by a daughter, Rhonda, Federal Way WA, four grandchildren, Kyli, Puyallup, WA, Heather (Michael) Metcalf, Beulah, ND, Alisha and Wyatt, Federal Way, WA., four sisters, Erma, Loretta, Zelma and Celia.

Rhonda: I was so saddened by your mother's passing. What a great lady she was. I remember all the good times I stayed at your house. Your parents were the greatest. I will never forget Priscilla. Rhonda: I loved your Mother like a sister, she was always my "Diamond In The Rough" sister. I always had lots of fun with her and loved to hear her laugh. She loved your Father dearly until the day she died and what a blessing that was. I am glad that she no longer struggles to breathe, I believe she is in a much better place than we are.
