Madelyn Neumann, 77, of Napoleon, ND, and formerly of Jamestown passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the Wentz Living Center, Napoleon, ND.
Madelyn was born February 26, 1947, in Jamestown, ND, to Stanley and Deloris Fidge. Deloris later married Gerald “Bill” Walsh, who became her step-father. She married William Neumann and they were later divorced. Madelyn gave birth to three children, Todd Fidge, of Jamestown; Amy Neumann, of Minnesota, and Chad Guizzetti, Littleton, CO. Madelyn lived in Jamestown most of her life. In March of 2002 she became a resident at the Gackle Care Center in Gackle, ND before moving to the Wentz Living Center in 2019.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy and son, Chad ; and sister, Brenda Kay (Randy) Buettenback, Julesburg, CO.
She is preceded by her parents; step-father, Gerald “Bill” Walsh; sister, Bonnie Schweitzer, brother, Ottis Fidge, foster brother, Michael Niess and brother in law, Randy Buettenback.
The family is planning a private service in the spring with inurnment at Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
