Janice M. Ray, 51, Jamestown, ND died Sunday night, May 3, 2015 at her home in Jamestown.

Janice Focht was born July 22, 1963 at Las Vegas, NV, the daughter of Jerry (Turnbaugh) Focht and Perry Focht. She received her education and grew up in the vicinity.

She and her husband were self-employed in the housing construction business in Las Vegas doing stucco work. In 2003 she moved to Jamestown, ND and worked as a CNA in a local nursing home.

She did volunteer work at the Community Center.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Tiffany Carter, Liberty, NY; Billie Jefferson, Las Vegas, NV; 2 grandchildren, and her parents, Kenneth and Jerry Borg, Valley City, ND.

She is preceded in death by her brother Dean.

There will be no local services with a burial at a later date.
