Obituary

Darvin Becker, 61, Jamestown, ND died Thursday afternoon July 9, 2015 at the Mercy Hospital in Valley City, ND. Darvin had a courageous 9 month battle with cancer.

Darvin Becker was born January 2, 1954 at Jamestown, ND, the son of John Becker and Emma (Kautz) Becker. He received his elementary education in Lehr and Medina schools. He started working for Dakota Bake & Serve.

He and Sheree Engel were married September 18, 1976 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where he has continued to work for Dakota Bake & Serve now Dakota Brand.

Darvin enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed racing and fixing his boys' race cars. He especially enjoyed black licorice and spending time with family.

Surviving are his wife Sheree, Jamestown, ND; 1 daughter and 2 sons, Tracy (Dave Seefried) Becker, Bismarck, ND; Landon (Ciara Leick) Becker, Jamestown, ND; Shawn (Haley Linsteadt) Becker, Mandan, ND; and a grandson, Liam, two sisters, Diane (Jim) Zeiszler, Jamestown, ND; LaVonne (Herman) Hastings, Highland Ranch, CO; 1 nephew and niece, Mike (Dawn) Zeiszler, Jamestown, ND and Melissa (Dan) Eppich, Centennial, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 nephew, Marc Zeiszler.

Memorial Service - 10:30 AM Tuesday July 14, 2015 in the First United Methodist Church in Jamestown, ND with Michelle Brennan, officiating

Visitation 1-7 Monday at the Funeral Home.

Interment - Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND

Prayer Service- 7:00 PM Monday July 13, 2015 at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND
