Keith D. Herring, 57, Jamestown, ND died Friday August 7, 2015 at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
Keith was born June 16, 1958 at Woodriver, IL, the son of Harold and Ruby (Sinks) Herring. He attended school in the area.
He moved to California became a Certified Nurses Assistant, and in 2002 he moved to Jamestown, ND where he worked as a cook and has resided.
He is survived by his son, Ryan Herring, San Diego, CA; 1 brother, Edward (Lori) Collier, Fargo, ND; 1 sister, Mary Collier, Woodriver, IL and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother James.
Services will be held at a later date.

I was so thankful to be asked to share in the family memorial at Becky's house tonite!! Keith was a dear friend whom I will miss... He was so smart and witty and fun-loving...generous with his time and his heart. He taught me a lot about life and friendship!!! To live life with no regrets. To be yourself. To live every day like it's your last... and to cherish your friends and family. I feel blessed to have known him and to have called him my friend.
