Janet and I didnt know eachother for very long, but I know God brought us together for a reason. Tho it was a brief relationship, I considered Janet a friend. Although it was short, I learned lessons and things about myself, from her that will help me grow as a person and Ill take with for life. Her and I were alike in alot of ways. Maybe she didnt see it, but I did. I would tell her that if we knew eachother sooner or before, that we most likely wouldve been friends. Just like she had to listen to me jibber jabber until she turned the volume up on the TV, she would just have to get used to me. It was exciting to watch the swearing in of President Trump on FOX News. Ive never met someone so patriotic and politically proactive as her. She was a very intelligiant woman. She had the kind of smarts Ive always wanted to have. She was good with numbers and math. Ive always struggled with those. My heart and prayers go out to her brother. He was there with her to support and help her faithfully. He was steadfast. He was the kind of person you couldn't say a bad thing about. He was the best big brother to her and to me the epitomy of family. We should all have a brother like him. Thru God, Im glad I got to know both Janet and her brother. I instructed her that when I come to meet Jesus and those in Heaven, that she will have to orchestrate the angels to sing the Hallelujah Chorus for me like we talked about how they will welcome her. Until then Janet I will put the tv on mute for the My Pillow commercial. Ill turn on Fox News once in awhile. At Christmas time, Ill turn on a sappy chick flick on the Hallmark channel. Arevaderci!

I have known Janet for over 23 years through DAR and DCW (Also her mother when she was alive). Janet helped me with genealogical research for DCW membership. I appreciated all the time and effort she took to find my information. I know she loved her brother and his family; she requested a certificate/pin from me to honor his military service during the Vietnam War. May her memory be eternal. She is missed. Condolences to her family.

As Jan's ex sister-in-law and roommate for one year of college in Oxford, England, I'd like to put in a word about how brave she was throughout her life. She had many struggles that few knew about and she handled them with grace and not a little stoicism. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a great laugh. She was someone you could count on always, and she brightened any corner of life in which she found herself.
