Donald Lee Beyer, 66, Alfred, ND died Thursday April 28, 2016 at the Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.

Don was born September 5, 1949 at Jamestown, ND, the son of Clarence and Jeanette (Widmer) Beyer. He attended school in Alfred and Montpelier and grew to manhood in the area.

He entered the US Navy

He returned to ND and settled on a farm near Alfred where he farmed for many years.

He is survived by his mother, Jeanette, Jamestown, ND; 4 daughters, Jacqueline (David) Eli, Jamestown, ND; Katina (Neal) Rode, Devils Lake, ND; Amanda (Raymond) Nambar, Eastvale, CA; Samantha (Zambie) Zaumbaum, Minot, ND; 8 grandchildren, 1 brother, James Beyer, Jamestown, ND; 2 sisters, Linda (Tom) Spafford, Binford, ND, Candi Otto, Jamestown, ND and special friend, Lucy Gould, Alfred, ND.

He was cremated and a service will be held at a later dated.

I was sorry to hear of Donny's death. My husband Tim visited with him many times after church on Sabbath. He will be missed in the Alfred community.
