Shirley Mutschler

Shirley M. Mutschler, 75, Sheyenne Care Center, Valley City, ND formerly of Jamestown, ND, died early Wednesday morning June 1, 2016.
Shirley Schrum was born August1, 1940 at Wishek, ND the daughter of Freddie Schrum and Caroline (Elhard) Schrum. She received her elementary education at Lehr, ND. She moved to Jamestown where she was employed at the Jamestown Café.

She and Henry Mutschler were married in Jamestown, ND. They made their home on the family farm where they lived and raised their four children. She later moved into Jamestown. She resided in Harvey for a shortime before moving to the Sheyenne Care Center in 2009. Henry passed away April 30, 2010.

Surviving are her children, David (Amy) Mutschler, Wimbledon, ND; three daughters, Lucy Mutschler, Bismarck, ND; Lynnette Mutschler, Jamestown, ND; Carmel Mutschler, Wimbledon, ND; 3 grandchildren, Justin, Joshua and ClariAnn; three brothers and sisters, Allen Bender, Sibley, ND; Artie (Margo) Bender, Kansas; Janell (Mack) McMannaray, Port Orchard, WA; Janice (Bill) Grosch, Bremerton, WA; Rosie (Ron) Schwehr, Roseau, MN; Steve (LaVonne) Bender, Jamestown, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one step brother Ervin Bender and step sister Vi.

Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM Friday June 3, 2016 in the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND with Rev. Suzie Orlopp, officiating.

Interment will take place in the Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.

Visitation - 1-8 Thursday at the Funeral Home.
