Dear Randy, Karla, and families, How blessed we are to have people in our lives that make us hurt so much when they leave us. Losing a mom hurts in the deepest places of the heart. Grief is the price we pay for love and memories keep our loved ones with us forever. Lorraine made Dad so happy and we are so greatful for the time they had together. I have fond memories of when she stayed with our family while teaching school. I was 3 and 4 years old then and she had to put up with me and took care of me a few times too. I remember one time when I was to go to sleep but kept talking and she said she wasn't listening anymore but I still kept talking! So glad our families remained friends all those many years.
