Donna Mae Hofmann, 65, Fargo, ND died at ManorCare Health in Fargo, ND.

Donna was born November 9, 1950 in Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Edward and Edna (Hoff) Hofmann. She attended school at Medina and graduated from Medina High School in 1969. She went to work at Big Jims, the ND State Hospital in Jamestown.

Later if life she went to college at Lake Region College in Devils Lake where she received a degree in Practical Nursing in 1988. In 1991 she graduated from Jamestown College she received her Registered Nursing Degree. She specialized in geriatric nursing and worked at Ave Maria and the ND Correctional Center, Hi-Acres. She moved and worked at Ashley Medical Center, Prince of Peace Nursing Home in Ellendale and also the Oakes Hospital. For a short time she had a hunting lodge and guide service. Donna retired in 2012 due to health problems and was a RN for 30 years

She is survived by her daughter, Lynnette (Kent) Janssen, West Fargo, ND; 3 grandchildren, Destiny (Casey) Seelye, Brandon Jacobson, Tanner Jacobson; and great grandchildren, Owen and Brookstyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, LeRoy.

Funeral Service - 1:30 PM Tuesday August 2, 2016 at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND, with Rev. Joel Winckler, officiating

Burial - Medina Cemetery, Medina, ND

Visitation - 9:00 - 7:00PM Monday @ the funeral home

I was so sorry to hear of Donns's passing. She was such a delight to visit with and she will be missed. My sympathies to her fsmily. Prayers will be uplifted for cpmfort and may you all be granted the pease that passes all understanding.
