Lyla Essig

Lyla Grace Essig was born asleep at 12:28pm on May 15th, 2017. She was held immediately by her mother who had carried her for 9 months. She was perfect and beautiful in every way.

Lyla was deeply loved by her parents, Michelle and Russel Essig and her big brother, Henry who was so excited to have a little sister who he could play with. Lyla was greatly longed for by her entire family.

Her grandparents Carmen and Cindy Essig and Dennis and Joyce Heyne loved her long before her birth. That love was also shared by her great grandparents Shirley and Clinton Essig and Ronald Yungmann, her aunts and uncles, Damen and Amanda Essig and Ryan and Megan Heyne.

Lyla was preceded in death by great-grandparents Marjorie Yungmann, Alvin and Adina Kirschenmann, and Edward and Ida Heyne.

Our lives are richer because of Lyla’s short life. She was God’s gift to us all. We all feel blest that she chose to come to us and she will always be a part of our family.

Lyla is a special angel watching over us. Her little life will always be a memory of love, innocence and purity. We will always love her…she was stillborn but STILL loved.
