Nitschke Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Rudy was a wonderful uncle to Brent and I always enjoyed visiting and laughing with him. We are unable to come up for the funeral, but hope to spend some time in your area when we are home to North Dakota this summer. Brent and Dawn Fode

To the Nitschke family: I have many great memories of Rudy, many from staying with the family during summers when growing up. My efforts were hardly notable, but as I learned to do hard work in those days I remember Rudy laboring in all aspects of farming, a very hard worker, and a person whose laugh I will always remember fondly. I believe staying on the farm gave me an early view of the peace and quiet of the North Dakota countryside, something that has never left me. Be thankful for many years together and know that you will one day be united. Mark and Darcel Fode
