Shirley Diede, 84, Jamestown, ND died Tuesday March 6, 2018 at the Essentia Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Shirley Nagel was born July 13, 1933 at Lehr, ND, the daughter of Theodore and Viola (Kautz) Nagel. She attended the Lehr Public school and grew to womanhood in the area.

She and Walter Diede were married October 28, 1951 at Selby, SD. They made their home in the Lehr, ND and Lead, SD areas until moving to Jamestown where she was a homemaker.

Shirley was a member of the St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Jamestown. She loved to bowl, play bingo, do puzzles and especially clean. Shirley also enjoyed her coffee time with her girl friends.

She is survived by her 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Clayton Nagel, Lehr, ND; Willis Nagel,

Jamestown, ND; Arbadella Fiechtner, Lehr, ND and Janet George, Spencer, MN

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 sons, Curtis, Ronald, Sherrill and Terry, and 3 brothers.
