Obituary
Lewis R. Kankelfritz, 55, Jamestown, ND died Thursday May 10, 2018 at the Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.
Lewis was born September 19, 1962 at Valley City, ND, the son of Reinhardt and Joanne (Stearns) Kankelfritz. He attended school at Valley City and grew to manhood in the Rogers area where he helped his father with lawn care.
Lewis moved to Minot, ND where he and Sharon Solien were married April 4, 1994. In 1996 he moved to Jamestown where he did lawn work and has resided here since.
He and his father were both on the Wimbeldon Fire Dept. and enjoyed doing yard work together.
Lewis is also survived by many friends and 3 special friends, Bandit, Me-2 and Demi.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 half-sister, Barbara Stearns.
Burial will take place at a later date the Leal Cemetery, Leal, North Dakota

Lewis is and will be missed tremendously. He exemplified God's grace in action as he sought the truth while looking for salvation, a man transformed. He faithfully attended Sunday Night Praise at Grace Episcopal Church where he was always welcomed and loved. Lewis was a gift to us beyond measure.
