Rhonda Tompkins, 57, Jamestown, ND died Wednesday July 4, 2018 at Eventide in Jamestown, ND. Rhonda Koenig was born May 7, 1961 at Gackle, ND the daughter of Archie and Sylvia (Spitzer) Koenig. She received her elementary education in Gackle graduating from the Gackle High School. She then attended college in Rapid City, SD for 2 years.

She and Loyal Tompkins were married June 12, 2004 at Jamestown, ND. She worked at the North Dakota State Hospital as a Direct Care Associate. Due to her health she retired in 2017 after many years at the NDSH. Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed bowling and riding bike.

Surviving are her husband, Loyal, Jamestown, ND; her children, Rebecca (Harley) Hawks, Jamestown, ND; Sharita Koenig, Jamestown, ND; Miranda Martell, Jamestown, ND; 5 grandchildren, her father Archie Koenig, Gackle, ND, 4 brothers, Todd Koenig, Bismarck, ND; Craig (Lynn) Koenig, Bismarck, ND; twins, George (Tammy) Koenig, Gackle, ND; James (Kim) Koenig, Fargo, ND.

She was preceded in death by her Mother Sylvia.
