Donald G. Eckstein, 61, Jamestown, ND died Wednesday July 25, 2018 at Eventide at Hi-Acres.
Don was born July 6, 1957 at Morrison, IL, the son of Earl C. Eckstein and Viola V. (Green) Eckstein. He attended school at Albany Grade School in Illinois and graduated from Manzano High School, Albuquerque, NM.
Don lived in Los Lunas, NM where he drove gas trucks. In 2013 he moved to Jamestown, ND where he has resided.
Don is survived by his father, Earl Eckstein, and 2 brothers, Ronald E. Eckstein and Dennis L. Eckstein, all of Albuquerque, NM.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 2010.
Donald’s wishes were to be cremated and services will be at a later date.

Don was a great neighbor. He will be missed. He took pride in his well maintained home and yard. He was often out fixing or improving something. He never failed to wave when he drove by or saw us out in the yard. Our condolences.

My wife DANA (SLAYMAKER) and myself went to grade school with Don back in Albany Illinois. We lost track of him over the years but always had fun with him in school. I pray he is in heaven and at rest with Jesus.

I recently found out about Don's death. He was our neighbor for decades in Los Lunas. He was very nice and a really good neighbor. We are sad to hear he has passed away albeit 5 yrs ago. He is still remember here in LL with good thoughts. Rest Don, thank you for being such a nice person.
