Daisie Brooks

Daisie Brooks, 86, Jamestown, ND died Monday December 17, 2018 at Eventide at Hi-Acres in Jamestown, ND.

Daisie Hazer was born January 2, 1932 at Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Henry and Rena (French) Hazer. She attended school at Woodworth and graduated from Jamestown High School.

She and Burnett Brooks were married September 1, 1950 at Woodworth, ND. They made their home on the farm south of Woodworth until 1953 when they moved into Jamestown where she worked as a sales clerk at Coast to Coast, Tempo and Ben Franklin. Following the death of her husband, she continued to live in Jamestown.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara (Warren Batsch) Vilhauer, Jamestown, ND; Linda (John) Nistler, Moorhead, MN, 3 grandchildren, Kerry Nistler, Greensboro, NC; Nathan (Athena) Nistler, Cottage Grove, MN; Kristen (Tim) Morris, Bismarck, ND; 5 great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brayden Morris and Carson, Kaelyn and Carter Nistler; 1 sister, Goldie Mehloff, Jamestown, ND and her beloved grand dog, Maxwell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2012, and 2 brothers, Lester and Gilman.
