Esther Kirvida, 92, Streeter, ND died Tuesday evening January 29, 2019 at Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND.
Esther Meisch was born October 7, 1926 at Streeter, ND, the daughter of Matthew Meisch and Lousia (Moos) Meisch. She attended the local school in Streeter where she received her elementary education.
She and Joe Kirvida were married November 18, 1945 at Streeter, ND. They made their home on a farm 7 ½ miles NE of Gackle where they farmed. In 1997 they moved to Jamestown, ND. In 2007 they moved to Streeter.
She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Gackle, ND.
Surviving are her husband, Joe, Gackle, ND; children, Jerry (Ophelia) Kirvida, Tahoe, CA; Cynthia Lee, Tuscon, AZ; Jodee Kirvida, Streeter, ND, 5 grandchildren , 2 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
It was Esther wishes that her body be donated to the anatomical gift program at the University Of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND.

Our sympathy to Joe and the family. John and I spoke with Esther about two weeks ago and had such a lovely conversation. I remarked to her how strong she sounded and we had a few laughs. She always reminded me so much of my Dad (Reuben) and I always admired what a strong, kind and lovely person she was. I will remember her fondly.
