Inez Ruff, 85, Streeter, ND died Monday March 11, 2019 at Eventide at Hi-Acres in Jamestown, ND.
Inez Ruth Reich was born February 3, 1934, south of Medina, ND, the daughter of August and Katie (Lang) Reich. She attended rural school in the Medina area and later attended Jamestown High School for 1 year. She went to work at Pred’s Clothing Store.
She and Harry Ruff were married September 14, 1952 at Medina, ND. they made their home in MN where she worked for several years. They returned to the Streeter area in 1956 where she worked for area farmers and local businesses in the Streeter until the fall of 1966 when they moved to a farm 3 miles north and 3 miles east of Streeter until retiring in 2004 when they moved into Streeter. She entered Eventide at Hi-Acres in 2013.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the UMW and was the church janitor for many years.
Inez is survived by her husband Harry, Streeter, ND; 3 children, Kenneth (Lois) Ruff, Alan (Audrey) Ruff, all of Streeter, ND; Sherry (Randy) Everding, Medina, ND; 6 grandchildren, Matthew (Amanda Guthmiller) Ruff, Samantha (Justin) Miller, Allison (Mike) Volkmuth, Chad (Katie) Williams, Jessica (Cory) Dennert, Stephanie (James) Kuhn, and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
