Obituary

Pamela Dockter, 59, Jamestown, ND died early Saturday morning, May 18, 2019 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown.

Pam was born August 25, 1959 in Jamestown, ND the daughter of Lawrence and Erma (Schauer) Dockter.   She grew up and attended school in Streeter and also attended Jamestown High School where she graduated in 1980.

She moved to Bismarck after graduation and became a part of Pride and Enable. She had various jobs in Bismarck including working at the Ramkota Hotel.

Pam loved her family; it was very important to her.  She enjoyed concerts, music, family vacations and animals.  She had a great sense of humor and was very generous.  Pam held a special place in her heart for her Enable family in Bismarck and was quick to adopt the staff at Ave Maria and Hospice as part of her family as well.  Everyone she met became part of her family.

Pam is survived by her father, 3 sisters, Linda (Todd Fry) Cose, Kindred, ND; Ronda (Tim) Erbele, Streeter, ND; Sandy (James) Bordeaux, Raleigh, NC; 4 nieces, Emily (Khayvon Hawkins) Cose, Miranda Erbele, Rachael (Luke Gietzen) Cose; Addyson Erbele; 1 great nephew, Kai Hawkins; 1 aunt, Alice Voegele; 1 uncle, Willie Kraft; and a special friend, Mike Baier.

She was preceded in death by her mother, nephew Cassidy Erbele, 1 aunt, Karen Kraft, and 3 uncles, Dennis Schauer, Stanley Schauer, and Dan Voegele.

Celebration of Life -11:00 AM Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Good Shepherd Chapel at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown, ND with Chaplain Kathleen Heller, officiating

Visitation-9-5 Tuesday at the funeral home

Interment- St. Luke’s Lutheran Cemetery- Streeter, ND

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Enable, Inc., JRMC Hospice, Ave Maria Village, or the American Cancer Society

If the world were full of 'Pams', it would be pretty close to perfect. God has to be so happy to have her in heaven with her. She always made me feel so special, and always made me laugh. I will really miss her. "Till we meet again".

My condolences go out to Pams family she is in gods care now no more pain. Pam was really a great person to know and work with we had lots of laughs and good times when I was with her she will be deeply missed shes a angel now
