I had actually posted this message on Facebook earlier and now posting here so more can view. I am thankful that the services are available on this site because we all missed the chance to be with the Gion Family to show our love and to honor Marie...To Audrey, Cheryl, Jim, Yvonne Suess, Micki Marie , Cindy Stecher Gion Reunion Bill, Russ Gion, John, Roger Margo Haut, Gwen, David. Sadly, we live in a time where the community of Regent and the parish family at St. Henry's cannot provide the usual goodbye. We all know that Marie's family and friends would have packed the church to the max. The cars would have filled the parking lot and on down the hill. There would have been amazing stories from your family and friends telling of her sense of humor and her love of family and her astounding faith. And we would have laughed and we would have cried. The music would have been beautiful. The meal served downstairs would have had every kind of salad and hot-dish and baked goodie that we could muster up. Because Marie earned and deserved such a send off because of the hundreds of meals she helped cook up and serve to others for so many years. She was a pillar and helped make our community a better place. And although we cannot stand in lines to give you all a hug, we can say we are so sorry for your loss and we love you. We send our prayers for comfort and peace and thanksgiving for that beautiful soul, Marie.

Some of my fondest memories of growing up were sharing Thanksgivings with Jim and Marie and family. My parents were OJ and Juanita Kilzer; we lived just a couple of miles south of Bentley. Marie was beautiful and vibrant. She had a laugh and smile that would light up a room. She always remembered all of our names and gave hugs willingly. As I watched the video below I reminisced and know that she is now in the loving arms of God and at home with Jim. Bless all of her children (spouses), children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It is a fact she is now one of your angels as is Jim.
