Diana Burkle, 74, Jamestown, ND died Monday November 23, 2020 at her home in Jamestown.

Diana was born August 28, 1946 in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Paul and Christine (Schmierer) Job.

She and Wayne Burkle were married August 27, 1967 in Linton, ND. They made their home on a farm near Fredonia. Diana moved to Jamestown where she worked at local grocery stores until her retirement.

She attended the Grace Baptist Church in Gackle. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Tinker.

Diana is survived by her children, Cherie (Daren) Graber, Fredonia, ND; Sandi (Rick) Himmelspach, Mandan, ND; Kacey (Kendall) Blackburn, Maineville, OH; 10 grandchildren, Tara (Jason) Wentland, Jesse (Samantha) Graber, Luke Graber, Logen Himmelspach, Carter Himmelspach, Grant Himmelspach, Brady Kuntz, Mercedes Kuntz, Brandy (Jon) Lucas, Katelynn Blackburn, 3 great grandchildren, Gunner, Layla and Kali Graber and 1 brother, Larry (Bonnie) Job, Everest, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wayne, 1 great grandchild, Nevaeh, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

My heart goes out to all of you who called her mom and grandma. I spent alot of time at the Burkle home when I was growing up. Diane had such a big personality and always welcomed me into her home. Thinking especially of you Sandi, and sending a big hug. I'm hoping memories of better days will help you during this difficult time.
