Ella Ketterling, 87, Wishek, ND died early Tuesday morning December 15, 2020 at the Wishek Living Center in Wishek, ND.
Ella Bader was born September 14, 1933 at Wishek, ND the daughter of Christ H. Bader and Anna (Morlock) Bader. She received her elementary education in Wishek, ND.
She and Edwin Ketterling were married September 11, 1952 at the Lutheran Church in Fredonia, ND. They made their home on the family farm 8 miles SW of Fredonia. In 1964 they moved into Fredonia and continued to farm. In 1968 they moved back to the farm where they farmed until retiring in 1997. In June of 2008 they moved into Lehr, ND where they have resided. Following their retirement, they enjoyed going to auction sales, flea markets, senior meals and coffee with friends.
She was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Fredonia. She was actively involved in ALCW and teaching Sunday school. She was also a member of the Fredonia Senior Center and Lehr Senior Center.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Rachel Anderson, Plymouth, MN; Wanda (Wilbur) Zimmerman, Lehr, ND; 4 grandchildren, Derrick Anderson; Carrie (Talia) Anderson; Wade (Brooke) Zimmerman; Willis (Camille) Zimmerman; 8 great grandchildren, Parker, Trinity, Aleah and Raelynn Zimmerman; Natalie and Jocelyn Woolever; Dylan Anderson; Bella Jawor; 2 sisters, Anna Schoch, Sacramento, CA, Esther (Henry) Schoch, Lodi, CA; 1sister-in-law, Janice Martin, Jamestown, ND.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin, 1 gandson, her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister-in-law.
