Obituary

Dennis Morlock, 81, Jamestown, ND died Thursday evening June 24, 2021 at his home in Jamestown.

Dennis was born May 25, 1940 at Streeter, ND the son of Henry Morlock and Matilda (Seigle) Morlock.   He received his elementary education in the local school graduating from the Streeter High School.

He and Diana Mae Bender where married March 11, 1966 in the Hope United Church of Christ at Streeter, ND.  They made their home on a farm NW of Streeter where they farmed. They retired in 2004 and moved to Jamestown where they have continued to reside.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Diana; 3 children, Dallas Morlock, Darnelle (Brian) Bakke, and Donny Morlock.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Delores Redeen and Bernice in infancy.

 

It was Dennis’ wish that cremation take place and to have no services.

Breaks my heart. When I was a little girl, my mom and I always went over to the Morlocks for fresh eggs. Mrs. Morlock would always have fresh cookies for me. Dennis was their son. Hard to believe he is gone.

was Dennis Morlock any relation to Gerhart Morlock who farmed south of Streeter? Would like to get in touch with that family.<br>condolences to this family, always hard to lose a cherished family member.<br>I grew up in Streeter area.
