Karina “Kari” Hoffman, 52, Jamestown, ND died late Tuesday evening July 20, 2021 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND following an 18-month battle with cancer.

Karina Davis was born March 17, 1969 at St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of Ron and Barbara (Litt) Davis. She attended Jamestown High School graduating in 1987. She then worked for Dakota Brands and Newman Signs.

She and Marc Hoffman were married on September 19, 1994 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Jamestown. In 1996 she began working for Cavendish where she did quality assurance until becoming ill.

Kari’s hobbies included motorcycle rides with her hubby, hiking, camping, nature watching and driving her convertible. She had a love for monarch butterflies and daises, along with collecting sea shells and unique rocks on her work trips. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND.

Surviving is her husband Marc, Jamestown, ND, children, Dylan Hoppe, Fargo, ND; Dustin (Kianna) Hoppe, Horace, ND; and Devyn Hoffman, Fargo, ND; 2 sisters, Tina Davis, Jamestown, ND and Jessica Davis, Newport, MN; her parents Ron Davis, Cottage Grove, MN and Barbara Davis, Jamestown, ND; father and mother-in-law, Archie and Sharon Hoffman, Fredonia, ND.

She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; 2 uncles, Joe Litt and John Lange; and 1 nephew Brent Hoffman.

It was Kari’s wishes to be cremated and no services held

Burial will take place at a later date in the Berlin Baptist Cemetery, SW of Fredonia, ND.
