Barbara Mittleider

Barbara Mittleider, 63, Jamestown, ND died Monday October 25, 2021 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.

Barb Mielke was born December 5, 1957 at Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Edward and Jean (Woods) Mielke. She attended school at Jamestown Public School and grew up in the Jamestown area.

She and Eugene Mittleider were married July 23, 1977 at Jamestown. They made their home in Jamestown where she worked the Jamestown Truck Plaza as a waitress for 35 years. She later went to work for Aramark at the Jamestown College, and also sold Avon products.

Barb was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Jamestown.

She is survived by her husband, Gene, Jamestown; 2 sons, Jason (Sarah) Mittleider, and Dustin (Katie) Mittleider, all of Jamestown; 7 grandchildren, Skyler (Ashley), Sydney, Sophie Jo, Taryn, Nevaeh, JayClyn, and Archer; 1 great grandchild, Easton; 3 brothers and 1 sister, Harlen Mielke, Shirley Ahner, both of Jamestown, Jerome (Eide) Mielke, Rogers, MN, Dale (Bonnie) Mielke, Jamestown; Brother in Laws, Bruce (Laura) Mittleider, Menahga MN and Kelly Mittleider; Sister in Law, Donna (Greg) Earnest, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and especially her Golden Child, Paxston.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister Jeannie; Father and Mother in Law, Dorothy and Harold Mittleider; Brother in Law, Richard Ahner and Sister in Law, June Mielke.
