Arland Buchholz

Arland Buchholz, 59, Jamestown, ND died Monday, September 1, 2025 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo.

Arland was born January 19, 1966 at Oakes, ND the son of Norman and Gladys Buchholz. He was raised in Gwinner and graduated from North Sargent Public School. He moved to Jamestown where he worked for Cavendish, Mark’s Diesel Repair, Northern Excavating and most recently Border States.

He and Becky Adamski were married June 15, 2007 in Jamestown at the First Assembly of God Church. They made their home in Jamestown. Arland suffered a stroke in March of 2012.

He enjoyed Dale Earnhardt, NASCAR, the Minnesota Vikings, 4-wheel drive pickups, and classic cars. He also loved camping and hanging out with friends.

He is survived by his wife, Becky; brothers, Roger, Gwinner, ND; Richard, Wahpeton, ND; Ronald, Lisbon, ND; Willie (Tammy), Wahpeton, ND; David (Amy), Lisbon, ND; sisters, Pauline (Cliff) Weber, Perham, MN; Linda Schillinger, Perham, MN; Darlene Buchholz (Randy), Gwinner, ND; Janice, Gwinner; Joyce Goodell (Mark), Kalispell, MT; two stepsons, Jeremy and David; three step grandchildren, Alaina, Hayley, and Jacob; one step-great grandchild, Brantley; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death. By his parents.
