Joann Roerick, 74, Jamestown, ND died early Saturday morning December 25, 2021 at her home in Jamestown, ND.
Joann Houle was born January 21, 1947 in Bottineau, ND the daughter of Aloysius Houle and Lillian (Dostaler) Houle. She received her elementary education in the local school and graduated from the Dunseith High School in Dunseith, ND. She attended college at St. Andrews School of Nursing in Bottineau, ND and graduated as a Registered Nurse. She married Donald Roerick and together they had one daughter.
She is survived by her daughter Lori (Scott) Shaleen as well as four brothers and five sisters - Keith (Bonnie) Houle, Shirley (Norman) Vandal, Sr. Sharon Houle, Emma Jean Houle, Gary (Roberta) Houle, Doreen (John) Deschene, Alan Houle, Ronald (Janet) Houle, and Pam Hagen. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Corene Houle as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Michael.
A private family burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
