Obituary

Wallace Hehr, 67, New Rockford, ND formerly of Fredonia & Kulm passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at St. Alexius in Carrington, ND.

Wally was born the son of Herbert and Gertrude (Heller) Hehr.  He received his elementary education in Fredonia and Kulm, graduating from Kulm High School.  He was baptized and confirmed at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Fredonia, ND.

Wally lived the last several years at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford, ND; where he truly enjoyed his activities and crafts.

Wally is survived by his sisters, Janice Krueger, Denton, TX; Myra (Jerry) Rasch, Denton, TX; and one nephew, Brian Hehr, Apple Valley, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronald Hehr.

Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Kulm, ND.

I was a high school classmate of Wally and treasured his friendship during those years leading up to graduation. I have fond memories of those years. I wish we had kept in touch, but as so often happens life takes you in different directions. Wally had a gentle spirit, a welcome smile, athletic abilities and a keen interest in mechanics. My condolences to the family.
