Obituary

Dana D. Williams, 63, Streeter, ND died Wednesday August 24, 2022 at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center in Jamestown.

Dana was born March 9, 1959 at Jamestown, ND, the son of Boyd and Judith (Reese) Williams. He attended school at Streeter and graduated from Streeter High School in 1977.

Dana entered the US Navy July 15, 1977 at Fargo, and served on the USS John F. Kennedy CV67 at Norfolk, VA. He was honorably discharged July 14, 1981 with the rank of EN3.

Dana returned to Streeter where he worked for area farmers until going to work for Hoffer Sand & Gravel as a truck driver. In 2012 he met his soul mate Tammy Schuler and they continued to reside in Streeter. Tammy passed away September 20, 2019 and Dana retired in 2021 and continued to live in Streeter.

He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Streeter. Dana loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a great smile and laughed often. He liked camping and working in his yard. Tammy and Dana spent hours working in the yard. After his mother and father passed away, Dana took over decorating for the holidays. Dana took great pride in his yard. He will be greatly missed.

Dana is survived by his 2 brothers, Bernell (Sandy) of Medina, ND, Jeffery (Margaret), 3 sisters, Denise (Dale) Wittmier, all of Streeter, ND, Janelle (Wayne) Buck and Belinda Dahl, Jamestown, ND, his step children, Jamie (Bill) Puklich, Julie (Joe) Gader, and their children and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and longtime companion, Tammy.
