Alvina Nitschke, 93, Jud, ND died Friday September 30, 2022 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown, ND.

Alvina Bossert was born December 23, 1928 in Jud, ND, the daughter of Michael and Dorothea (Rempfer) Bossart.  She received her education at Jud Public School graduating at Jud High School.

She and Walter Nitschke were married February 2, 1951 at Valley City, ND. They made their home in Valley City until moving to Jud. Alvina was city assessor for a number of years and cooked at the Jud Public School. She also did weekly cleaning at the Jud Methodist Church for 16 years. She also cooked at the Lehr Bible Camp with her good friend Evelyn Elhard. Following the death of her husband, October 4, 1998 she continued to live in Jud.

She was member of the Jud United Methodist Church

Alvina is survived be her children, Vickie (Bill) Watts, Haughton LA; Tim Nitschke, Fargo, ND; Julie (Keith) Trautman, Cleveland, ND; Alan (Lisa) Nitschke, Jud, ND; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 sisters, Ida Flaig, Irene Gilmore, and brother Darwin Bossart.

Alvina your with Blackie and the family once more. Thank you for being my friend when I arrived in 1989 in Jud. I always enjoyed our visits in Jamestown at the Walmart or grocery stores here. Rest in Peace.

To Alvina's family - Alvina and Blackie were the funniest comedy team around. Alvina's love of a good joke and laughter made her a favorite with me. She was also so kind. She will be missed! My thoughts are with you.
