Dear Marlyn, Joel, Lori and family, My deepest sympathy to all of you on the sad news that your Mom passed away. I've known Elaine around 30 years and she was one of the most kind, caring and easy to be with person I've ever met. It was always enjoyable to talk to Elaine on the phone and a privilege to visit with her in her home. I considered Elaine a good friend and she was a good friend to my mom and aunt before me as well. I'm grateful that my husband was able to meet and visit with Elaine a few years ago and he thought the same as me, that she was lovely. May the wonderful example of Elaine, reflect through all of you and that your memories be a comfort through this difficult time and going forward. Elaine will be greatly missed but never forgotten. I have really fond memories of Elaine and Chet.My family would be invited out to Everett’s and Alma’s farm ,my folks were great friends of theirs. My sister Susan and Elaine would play their accordions and Alma would make goulash. Elaine stayed friends with my Mom for years and she was so kind to me after my Moms death.
