Phyllis (and Oliver) were dear friends of my parents (Colette and Ervin Eissinger) for many years. Phyllis and my Mom were childhood friends - a friendship that lasted for decades. Loved like family. Will treasure many memories. Rest in peace, Phyllis✝️

I will introduce myself. Phyllis’ Grandfather and my Grandpa Tranmer’s Dad were brothers. I think. My name is Anne Carlton, nee Tranmer. My grandparents moved to Canada in 1908, and they had my Dad’s sister, Hazel and my Dad, Gene. Both went on to have Families. I remember Phyllis’ Mom and Dad and her Uncle came to visit the Canadian relatives when I was a young girl. In 1971, I took my Grandpa, Dave Tranmer to visit them in Gackle. That was when I met Oliver and Phyllis and it was like we knew each other all our lives. I kept in touch through the years and my husband and I visited them several times through the years. Phyllis was a great cook, hostess, beloved cousin and so much more. I have some of her recipes and a cookbook she gave me. I’m sorry she has passed, but now she is at peace and with Oliver and all those special loved ones who had preceded her. I enjoyed our chats on the phone over the years and we had our last one at Christmas this past December. I will miss her dearly. My thoughts are with all who were close to Phyllis.
I’m pleased the Funeral was live streamed and I was able to watch it tonight.
