Stephen A. Carlascio, 71, Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday February 15, 2023 at his home in Jamestown.
Steve was born September 28, 1951 at Jamestown, ND, the son Anthony J. and Jeannine E. (Blake) Carlascio. He attended school and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1969. Steve then attended NDSU and MSU for 2 years.
Steve began working for Burlington Northern Railroad in 1974 as a brakeman/yardmaster. In 1976 he was promoted to conductor. Steve retired as a conductor from Amtrak in October 2011 and continued to live in Jamestown.
He was a member of the Basilica of St. James.
Steve is survived by his brothers, Bart M. (Kari) Carlascio, Fargo, ND; Tony J. Carlascio, Jr., Mandan, ND, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Steve’s wishes were to be cremated; no services will be held.
