Al has a place in my heart. He stopped into the church while I was working one day. He greeted me with a “Hey kiddo!” This happened on what would have been my dad’s birthday and this was typically my dad’s greeting to me. I shared that with Al. He said he wouldn’t call me that any more but I gave him permission to use it. It was a great memory of my dad for me and now great memory I have of Al. I will miss him checking up on me.
