To be honest I feared Grandmother a bit. She was tough and a true matriarch! However, she was also very witty and funny. Squealing tires in the Impala and telling her grand kids "didn't think I could do it, huh. Hanging up on grandpa when she told him she was going to Jamestown to get rocks for landscaping, while grandpa told her there were plenty in the field. Btw. After she hung up him he said and I quote "ah uh okay goodbye" to a busy signal as to not lose face to his grandsons. Shooting straw wrappers at bonanza and of course watching cyclopes rather than sleeping. She was intelligent and witty up to the very last moment I spoke with her. She is in a better place with her husband and daughter. I will miss you Grandma!
