Kelly, Shay & families Sorry for the loss of your mom Irene. I worked with her at the Baptist Home. We go back a long ways. I was just a kid when I started working there. She made working there fun. Enjoyed visiting with her and hearing about her family. Then the grandchildren came & she was so proud of all of you!! She was a kind, gentle loving woman. The residents all got along with her & were glad when she worked. I learned a lot from her. Your mom has earned her angel wings. She endured a lot in her lifetime without complaining. Sorry to hear of Irene's passing. We enjoyed daily visits with her over breakfast at the Branding Iron in Pierre SD the past couple years. We will miss her.
