Sorry to hear of her passing. When we would run into her in Jamestown she would always take the time to visit and never was in a hurray. Always had that inviting smile and was a very compassionate lady, never forgot to give you a warm hug !!! Mike and Diane Neva

Sauer Family – I was saddened to hear about Karen passing. I have so many great memories of Karen when I was a young girl prior to moving to Washington. She was one of my favorite cousins - - We spend many days and nights together on her family farm doing chores, playing games, performing plays for anyone that would watch, and sometimes getting into mischief. Over the years, we wrote occasional letters and shared pictures of our children. However, several years ago when I was in Sanborn attending the annual 4th of July parade we reconnected and have been communicating regularly. I could tell immediately by her letters that she was a very devoted mother and loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren very much. RIP Karen – I am going to miss you.
