Donna Seibold

Donna Jean (Remboldt) Seibold, 95, passed away on September 18, 2026, in Jamestown, North Dakota.

Donna was born in 1931 near Gackle, North Dakota. She grew up on the North Dakota prairie, the daughter of Emil and Lydia Remboldt and attended Sheyenne River Academy, graduating with the Class of 1950.

After receiving her teaching credentials, Donna taught in a one-room country school in the rural area between Gackle and Cleveland, North Dakota. Her years as a teacher reflected her commitment to children, education, and service to her community.

Donna married Willis Seibold in 1950 and spent most of their years near Sykeston, North Dakota, farming and raising their two children Llewellyn and Gaylene in the New Home community. Their Christian faith was an important part of their family life, and they attended the New Home Seventh-day Adventist Church, where worship, fellowship, and service were woven into the life of their family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Family remained an important part of Donna’s life throughout her 95 years.

From her childhood near Gackle and her years at Sheyenne River Academy, through her time teaching in a rural country school and the many years she and Willis spent raising their family in the New Home community, Donna’s life was deeply rooted in faith, family, friends, education, and community. She leaves behind the memory of a long life faithfully lived and a legacy carried forward through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, friends, and the many people whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

We look forward to the time when, in her words, “we will all be gathered together.” She died with an enduring faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ, resting while she awaits His return and the reunion with God the Father in her heavenly home for eternity. That will be the final harvest of souls, she prayed for each night before she passed to her rest.

Donna is survived by her son Llewellyn (Kathleen) Seibold; daughter Gaylene (Doug Regester) Seibold; grandchildren Aaron (Mary) Seibold, Annalissa (Michael) Martins, and Annika (Nathan) Lorenz; great grandchildren Elliana and Oliver Martins; cousins; and many nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Seibold (d.2012); parents, Emil (d. 1993) and Lydia Remboldt (d. 2001); brothers Roger Remboldt (d. 1993) and Larry Remboldt (d. 1964).

Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 10, 2026 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church-Jamestown, ND

Interment will be at the New Home Seventh-day Adventist Cemetery, Sykeston, North Dakota.
