Obituary

Philip Ivesdal, 65, Jamestown, ND, died Friday February 23, 2024 at his home in Jamestown.

Philip was born December 20, 1958 at Edmore, ND, the son of Reuben and Olive (Youde) Ivesdal. He attended school at Edmore and graduated in 1977.

He and Tammy Davidson were married May 31, 1980 at Jamestown. They made their home at Edmore where they farmed until 1990. They moved to Kansas where he did housing construction. In 1993 they moved to Jamestown where he worked for John Deere and later was self-employed as a contractor.

He is survived by his wife Tammy, Jamestown, ND; 2 daughters, Amanda Ivesdal, WI and Kim (Justin) Mattson, Jamestown, ND; 3 grandchildren, Lyncoln Ivesdal, Brody and Taryn Mattson; 2 brothers and 4 sisters, Mark (Linda) Ivesdal, Keystone, SD, Sterling (Sue) Ivesdal, LaPorte, TX, Penny Ivesdal, Bismarck, ND, Pamela (Bob) Hiltner Erskine, MN, Elaine Ivesdal, Edmore, ND, and Diane (Dale) Burling, Wishek, ND.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents and sister Darlene.
