Joshua White

Joshua Paul White, 45, passed away on August 13, 2026 leaving behind a lifetime of memories, adventures, and the people and animals he loved dearly. He was born on December 3, 1980, in Michigan to Betty and Jerry White.

Joshua had a deep love for the outdoors and lived life with a true sense of adventure. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and hiker, happiest when he was outside exploring, discovering new places, and experiencing something new. Adventure was a part of who he was, and he was always dreaming about the next place he would go and the next trail he would explore.

Joshua will be deeply missed by his beloved daughter, Samantha; his mother, Betty White; his brothers, Jeremy (Lisa)White, Jerry White, Jim, and Milo; his sister, Barbara; and his many family members, cousins, and friends who shared his life and adventures.

One of Joshua’s greatest loves was his dogs. They were not simply pets to him, but cherished companions and an important part of his life. He leaves behind two beloved dogs, Bentley and Bellaboo, who will surely feel his absence.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry White; his brother, Mark White; and his sister, Chris.

Joshua leaves behind stories that will be told, places that will always remind others of him, and memories of the adventures he shared with those he loved. May he finally find the peace that his mind so often struggled to give him and may those who loved him remember not only how he left this world, but the man he was—the son, father, brother, cousin, friend, adventurer, outdoorsman, and dog lover who will never be forgotten.

Celebration of Life will be September 13th, starting @ 1 pm. 

Please join us as we come together to celebrate the life of Josh White and give him the kind of remembrance he deserves.

Everyone who knew and loved Josh is welcome to join us at Riverbend Farm, south of Valley City, for an afternoon of food, stories, laughter, memories, and maybe a few tears.

Josh met so many people throughout the years, and we're sure there are plenty of stories to be told! We would love for everyone to come ready to share their favorite memories, funny stories, and adventures with Josh.

• Fish fry & BBQs will be provided
• Water & lemonade will be provided
• If you'd like to have one last beer with Josh, you're more than welcome to bring your own.

This isn't meant to be a formal gathering. It's a chance to be together, remember Josh, tell the stories that shouldn't be forgotten, laugh about the good times, and celebrate a life that touched so many people.

So come as you are, bring your stories, raise a glass, and let's have one last party with Josh.
