Obituary

Rosella Everding, 90, Jamestown, ND, died Monday, June 1, 2026 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Rosie was born January 4, 1936 at Trinity Hospital in Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Otto and Pauline (Lang) Hack. She grew up in the area, graduating from Jamestown High School. While in high school she began her career in banking, staring out as an intern at James River Bank.

She and Harry Everding were married on September 4, 1955 at Jamestown, ND where they made their home. Rosie’s banking career took her to different banks in Jamestown, including First National Bank, Norwest, and Wells Fargo; along with many job titles; teller, auditor and bank officer.

She had a love for camping and fishing; she and Harry would travel up to T&D Cabins at Amisk Lake in Canada, where they spent all of their summers. She loved to travel and took pride in working in her yard.

Rosie is survived by her daughter, Denise Koble, Jamestown, ND and 1 sister, Barbara Hoff, Libby, MT.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; 1 sister in infancy, Della Mae; brother in-law, Melvin; and nephew Brian.

A private family graveside service will take place at the Highland Home Cemetery in Jamestown, ND.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of dear Rosella. I met her at Roseadele, where she was a resident for sometime. She was so very kind to my own mother, NORMA, that I grew to treasure Rosella as a dear friend for these brief months. Her kindness and thoughtfulness will not be forgotten! May God bless the memory of this sweet woman!
