Douglas Gumke

I am sorry to hear of Doug's long illness and recent death. I salute his memory for his service to his country and would love to hear about his service. I remember a bad bicycle accident with Doug on the back of my Schwinn Stingray bicycle when we were perhaps 8 years old and coming down the hill on 3rd Ave NE. We were lucky with just bad scrapes but no broken bones.

I have great memories of Doug. Many good times while camping out at Pelican Point or saturday nights working together at the speedway . Doug was always a good front straightaway boss and was one that specialized in hand signals and direct jestures like the old slap on the ass . Prayers to the family and we can only hope he and Don are doing something together .

I worked with Doug at CashWise. Such a great human! He will be missed by many. Go rest high Doug!
